AFP-GA Blog: The Campaign for Georgia Congressmen to Stand Against Climate Tax
May 28, 2010
As it appeared on the AFP-GA State Blog
Congress is still pushing to implement a huge new gamut of taxes through regulation breathed into life by a series of climate taxes. The pitch calls for `environmental awareness’ but the reality will be hundreds of debilitating new taxes and regulations aimed at the heart of American business. You can dig deeper HERE.
Currently, several Georgia congressmen, state legislators and candidates have signed the `No Climate Tax’ Pledge leading up to the 2010 elections. We need more! We need to put pressure on our other congressmen in Georgia and BOTH Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss to do what’s right for Georgia business and the economy at large and keep us competitive by going on record against any climate tax.
